THE SHACK

I just finished reading "The Shack".  It took me a while to finally read it, because it seemed everyone was telling me to read it.  I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon, so i put it off for a while.  But I JUST finished reading its 250 pages in about 2 days.  And it was pretty great.  Do yourself a favor and don't read anything about it...like not even the back cover: it's a spoiler, if you ask me.  Even some promotional banners, like the one you see above, are spoilers.  Just read it.  I loved it.

That one's been laying around the house for about 6 months...I'll let you know if I decide to read it :)

I noticed that Vicky Beeching happened to just finish that book as well. I don't suppose it's a Christian book of sorts, is it? Anyways, I may have to read it since both of you have read it!

joel, sup man...watching the game tonight?

based on one line in the book, I'd guess that the author would Not call it a "Christian" book...but I think I know what you mean...and it does address things that the "Christian community" should find interesting.

good luck at Wachovia tonight ;)

I'm guessing that you and "Joel Lee" know each other? Sorry if I'm supposed to know that already.

hey nicole.
joel and I never met...except here. He's from Philly, I'm from Pittsburgh, and we're playing each other in Hockey for rights to play in the Stanley cup Finals...tonight again.

Haha. It would be amazing if I knew Mr. Shust personally... but alas, I do not. :P

As for sports, I don't really watch them nor do I keep up with them. Yeah, I'm one of those rare guys. At least I know that you are the Penguins and I am the Flyers. I hope you guys win! :)

Hey Aaron,
It's been a while. I am now in France with the Mission Board. I will have to check out that book. A friend of mine, Jeremy Kingsley, just came out with a book you might want to check out title Be LAST. How are things going for you?
