"You Don't eat no MEaT?!?!"

Eva Longoria Parker has resolved to not eat meat this year.  Maybe Aunt Voula can make her some lamb.

I would like to know the Bible better by reading it more often.  And I'd like to take better care of myself: exercise more and maybe eat less chocolate.  (just a little less)

Have you made your resolution?

Haha! 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' Rocks. My New Years Resolutions include: Stop being a procrastinator, learn to love jogging and memorizing the Book of James. Lets see how well I do! I just need to remember that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

My main goal is to get my kids to speak kindly towards each other! I'd also like to get back into walking everyday.

I roped my mom and grandma into starting Bible-in-a-year programs. Then I discovered I could download The Message Daily Bible for only about $7 on itunes. Every morning I listen to my daily portion, and the kids hear it as their wake up call and flop on the couches to listen. Then at night I read through a corresponding Bible study guide before bed.

I love the goal of memorizing an entire book! And Jennifer's goal is one I'm striving to fully know and appreciate. Kids getting along - bah! They broke that one sometime early on January 1st, and shortly thereafter I broke my resolution to have more patience and yell at them less (ha).

I have resolved to not make resolutions but set goals. And mine are probably not any differnet than anyone elses: read my Bible more, Grow closer to God, get into shape etc. ( I already DON'T eat me...LOL )
A HUGE one for me however is to let go, and let God. I hold onto things too much, like fixin'(a technical Texas term) to be 35 and still single. It's ok to be in the situation I am in. It's the world that says its not, and what do they know...right? LOL
2009 is going to be a great year. I can just tell.
Happy New Year to you all.

I don't make resolutions, per-say, but I'm trying to be more patient with my grandchildren, and my teenager, and my 20-something - all girls, all at home. I'm taking a Disciple class so I can learn, and learn, and learn about God, Jesus, the bible, and myself!

OOPS! How embarrassing!
I just realized I typed this "I already DON'T eat me...LOL" --
Clearly I meant "I dont' eat MEAT", not "me". how gross, :) result of typing to fast and not spell checking yourself.

Resolutions... oops... how the years slip by! Actually I'm working at my humility, self-control, patience, and not using as much bandwidth as possible in a month. I eat it up! I'd like my friends to make some resolutions, they probably could use some. (The Bible says to sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron... does this count?)
