The NFC North Tour

So we were in Green Bay last night and finally got most all the kinks out out of the show. Our apologies to the first 3 shows in PA, MD and NC. We played Green Bay last night, Madison tonight, Duluth and Brainerd, Minnesota the next two days.

The Auditions have been fun! We had Caroline Deason from North Carolina come to the Raleigh show, she played acoustic guitar during Matchless (that's the contest song) and twas a lot of fun. We don't provide a comfy soundcheck for the contest winners, it adds to the excitement. Tonight, we'll have Andy Boettcher play and sing...he doesn't know that he'll be singing yet...but he will. We've had a guy audition for drums, which would be a lot of fun too. So keep those auditions coming and tell your friends about it too!

I had a nice morning this morning, we arrived in Madison around 3am and I slept til 10:15, had a leisurely morning sitting by the window, letting the warm sun stream in, had some coffee, read the Sports page of the USA Today, Romans 2 and another great chapter from David Nasser's Glory Revealed. Went for a run, grabbed a bite to eat with Nate at Yola's, turns out that the owner is a pastor and the girl working there was coming to the show tonight, so we got her tickets and she got us free dessert. The barter system is alive and well in Wisconsin.

That's so cool you had him sing. I hope someone posts it from the concert!

Glad to hear you got all the kinks out, usually the first couple of times is a little rough.

I don't think you want me to audition, it would be bad, unless you have a need for a chemical and/or Quality Engineer :)

Unfortunately you aren't coming anywhere near me, maybe your next tour! :)

Aaron,
My wife and I saw you a few years ago in Sioux Falls, SD. You opened up for MercyMe. It was incredible. I actually almost caught your tamborine as you threw it out but was busy shoving a hot dog in my mouth and the guy next to me caught it, right in front of my face. Probably saved me a good bruise.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that we loved your concert and would like to welcome you back to Sioux Falls this month. We aren't able to afford tickets this time but just wanted to let you know that what you are doing is awesome and thank you. We almost lost our five year old a year ago and your songs have been a huge help in making sense of the world around and bringing us closer to God. We Love what you do! Thanks and enjoy Sioux Falls.

I think i am an 85 year old woman trapped in a 26 year old's body to tell you the truth, in that I am always 2-3 years behind the times when it comes to technology and have NO IDEA how to Twitter? tweet? Twitt???? whatever you call it! LOL. I think I need to bite the bullet and jump on the band wagon, lest I miss you guys a SECOND time, which would be positively AWFUL! May I humbly ask you to pray for me as my health has been wavering a little bit to the point that I have had to miss work 3 times in that past two weeks, and can't really afford to miss any more. It's been two years since my battles with insomnia, depression, and anxiety started, and I am dlieghted to report that I have been anxiety and depression FREE for three+ months, during which time I got married! God is so kind to me!! :0) The insomnia and some major side effects of my medicine remain. Your prayers are SO MUCH appreciated, and if you don't have the time or simply forget, as I confess I have done to a brother or a sister my fair share of times...:0/, I will not be offended in the least. Blessings to you and yours! Happy Fall!!!

Aaron, This is Sheri MacLean (Jen and Patrick Pinho's sister). We just had our annual field forum for all our missionaries in Mali and we sang Long Live the King during one of our worship times. I am always blessed by your words. I remember listening to your songs that Jen had given to me on a tape in high school and loving them and now I have to buy your music to hear it! ha! Seriously, it's great to see how the Lord has blessed you and is using you! If you ever feel up for travel, I know we in Mali would love a concert!...though I'm guessing that's a bit out of the way :) God bless!
